pub enum LifecycleResult {
Committed,
Conflict,
Skipped,
Failed,
}Expand description
The outcome of one lifecycle op. Lifecycle ops are not retried: a lost race
is recorded as Conflict and the writer moves on.
Variants§
Committed
The conditional put or delete committed.
Conflict
A concurrent writer moved the key between the read and the write. A failover retry after a lost acknowledgement is also recorded here, which errs safe.
Skipped
The op did not apply to the key’s state (e.g. delete of an absent key).
Failed
A transport or backend error.
