What a GC sweep did.

Fields

freed: Vec<ContentHash>

Hashes of blobs deleted because no record referenced them, in ContentHash order — not listing order (the sweep walks a BTreeMap to collapse duplicate listings). That order is intentional.

retained: usize

Count of blobs kept because they are still referenced.

deferred: usize

Count of blobs no record references that were kept anyway, because they are younger than the policy’s min_age. Without this an operator cannot tell “nothing to reclaim” from “reclaiming held back”.
