#[non_exhaustive]pub enum ParseMode {
Isolated {
path: PathBuf,
source: WorkerSource,
},
InProcess {
searched: Vec<PathBuf>,
},
}Expand description
How an index run will parse.
The two modes produce identical graphs, which is exactly why the fallback
went unnoticed: the worker is a pure isolation wrapper, so its absence costs
nothing until a grammar abort()s and takes the whole run with it instead of
skipping one file (#212). Reporting the mode is what makes the guarantee
checkable at the moment it matters.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
Isolated
Crash-isolated: parses run in a worker subprocess pool.
InProcess
In-process: no worker was found, so a grammar crash aborts the run. Carries every location that was searched, so the warning can say where to put one.
